about me
hello!
I am currently a digital marketing professional in Oklahoma City. I have experience working in paid, earned and owned media, including social media (strategy, copy, graphics/video), paid promotion, influencer strategy, media relations, website development/management, and so much more.
As a marketing professional, I've worked at Saxum Strategic Communications as a Digital Coordinator. There I was able to work with numerous regional brands across various industries including education, energy, health care, philanthropy, and public affairs.I was in charge of a number of social media channels and wrote copy, designed graphics, created video content, and developed/updated strategies. I worked on the web side of digital marketing and aided in website copy, updates, and development. My storytelling skills came in handy with writing long-form content (including newsletters, emails and blogs) for several clients. But no digital strategy is complete without an understanding of data and analytics, which is why my team and I put together regular reports of analytics (including web, social, email etc.) and would use these reports to shape our future content.
At Saxum, I worked on more than just owned content—I helped develop a paid strategy and worked on implementation for event promotion, audience growth, web clicks, video views and more with clients such as OG&E, the Walton Family Foundation, or the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute.

In 2023, I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication. You may ask yourself, "Master? Surely, she's mistaken and means Bachelor of Arts?" But no, my junior year of undergrad, I applied to be part of Gaylord College's Accelerated Masters program, which allowed me to work concurrently on my graduate degree while I finished my undergraduate degree. So spring of 2022, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and returned in the fall to complete my Master's thesis.
Speaking of my Master's thesis, I developed a full social media campaign as my thesis project for the music management group Trip the Fan and their band stepmom. The campaign was based entirely on my research on Gen Z's tendency to form parasocial relationships on social media and how marketers could utilize that audience tendency for their brands (in this case, to increase a band's fanbase). As an avid music lover and concert-goer, this was an incredible blend of my love for storytelling and music in the professional world.
